I write about remote work, management, parenting, and humor from Vancouver BC. My work has appeared in Forge, CEO World, The Muse, and The Startup.

After tweleve years managing people and projects, I’ve come to the conclusion that most challenges have human solutions. My writing and speaking engagements reflect this ethos.

I hold an MBA from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and an MFA in fiction from Sara Lawrence College in New York. I’ve studied satire with The Second City. All of this education makes me a professional B.S.er, which comes in handy when people question my chai drinking habits. It isn’t a chai addiction, it’s a chai OPPORTUNITY.

During the pandemic I started writing comedy and producing an audio literary magazine. You can listen to Latinx Lit Audio Mag on the website, Spotify, or Apple.

I post every other week. Subscribe to my blog if you don’t want to miss the newest posts. You can reach me at teresa@teresamdouglas.com

  1. Hi Teresa,
I am very fortunate to have Jenell as a friend. Such a great woman with the best sense of humor. I know she had to struggle a bit in life, but that girl was strong. I would love to see an article on how she was as a little sister and growing up with her. I enjoy your articles about your Grandpa and Grandma, I also was fortunate to meet both of them. Hope to hear from you.
